DAIS Elementary takes distance learning beyond the screen by offering student toolkits to enhance instruction and add a personal touch.

Just before the winter break all our students and teachers got together to celebrate the holidays and show of the school spirit during DAIS Spirit Week.

Unable to travel out of province due to the global pandemic, students and teachers at DAIS developed a partnership with regional corporations in order to bring online learning opportunities to children in local communities.

Wingo Night at the Blueberry Valley Manor Farm on Friday, November 20th was a big fundraiser to support school events.

In this after school activity, students support a local nursing home.

DAIS Performing Arts Department hosted the first public concert in the fall of 2020 – the Music Vernissage.

DAIS participated in two events to distribute computers to young language learners in nearby communities.

On October 30, DAIS hosted the first public event on campus since January – the Halloween Family Fun Night.

DAIS has joined Nord Anglia Education (NAE), which is a family of bilingual and international schools from all around the world.

On Saturday, October 10th DAIS hosted our first ever Fall DAISMUN conference on campus.

Friday, September 25th was the House Extravaganza Sports Day for DAIS/HM grades 6-12.

This year we have 55 award-winning students who performed well on Advanced Placement (AP) examinations.

Three DAIS/Huamei 11th graders won gold and silver medals in 2020 Bio Olympiad Initiative USA-China.

Middle school students were given the unique opportunity to attend the Future Focused 21st Century Leaders course this summer.

The challenge was organized by our Design teacher Ben Newton.

On Sunday May 31st the class of 2020 celebrated their graduation in a beautiful ceremony attended by faculty and our student choir and band.
